FedEx will make three attempts to deliver to your location. They will then hold the shipment at a local facility for pickup for up to five business days. You can contact FedEx at any time during transit with your tracking details and request for them to hold your shipment, free of charge, at a local facility. This can be done by calling them directly (1800GOFEDEX) or clicking the "Manage Delivery" link on your tracking information page.
